citib@se Statistics provide Insight into Serviced Office Sector

UK top five business centre operator, citib@se, has released statistics that outline office usage according to business sector on a regional basis across its national network of centres. The statistics are part of a wider drive by citib@se to provide more transparent information on the serviced office sector.

The statistics demonstrate that Bewdley has become a sought after location for technology based businesses. While citib@se centres in other areas indicate new business growth across a number of sectors, citib@se Bewdley is remarkable for the concentrated focus on IT, telecoms and new economy firms.

43% of businesses at citib@se Bewdley are IT and telecoms based: this compares for example to 22% in London and 13% in Edinburgh. The closest figure is Cambridge with 41%. Alongside its technology focus Bewdley plays host to a range of business sectors including financial services and retail (see table below).

citib@se's business centres are designed specifically for small and medium sized businesses. The success of this size of firm, particularly in growth industries such as IT and telecoms is a very positive signal for the economy of the local area.
