Statistics show that Newcastle city centre
works for business start ups
UK top five business centre operator, citib@se
plc, today revealed statistics that support the view that Newcastle
city centre is an attractive location for start-up businesses
from a wide range of industries.
As part of a wider drive by citib@se to provide
more transparent information on the service office sector, they
have released statistics that for the first time outline office
usage according to business sector across their national network
of centres.
citib@se Newcastle at Churchill House, 12
Mosley Street, NE1 is currently home to a number of firms operating
in the business services, financial services and IT sectors. This
includes recruitment consultants, financial advisors, solicitors
and sign writers.
citib@se centres are specifically designed
for small and medium sized businesses and project teams from large
businesses. They can move in at short notice and alter the amount
of space they use. These features are also ideal for companies
expanding into new areas. A company based in Southampton can take
an office in the North East and quickly establish a presence without
the complicated commitments of a long lease.
Ian Read said: "Many start-ups and small businesses
can be put off by the idea of city centre rents. However serviced
office centres are an ideal incubation environment and our statistics
show that this view is shared by businesses from a variety of
sectors in Newcastle.
