New office centres for 2006:
citibase opens premises in Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool

citibase’s nationwide network of business centres is growing! This month sees the opening of three new centres – in Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpool.

In Birmingham, citibase’s presence has doubled in size with the opening of a new centre on Temple Row. It offers 16,668 sq. ft. of office space, providing local businesses with a wider choice of location alongside citibase’s existing property at Lonsdale House, which has been renamed citibase Birmingham Mailbox.

Leeds also now boasts two citibase centres. The new Leeds Park Square centre has 20,000 sq. ft. of office space in one of the most desirable yet tranquil areas of the city, in addition to the existing centre on Wellington Street.

Liverpool sees the opening of its first citibase office centre. Silk House Court offers 12,784 sq. ft. of space at the hub of the business district, just a short walk away from the city’s major rail terminuses.

Together the new centres will offer an additional 450 individual workstations. citibase acquired all three from Arc Business Centres, working in conjunction with the Romulus Partnership, a Close Brothers fund specialising in serviced office investment.

Commenting on the openings, citibase Joint Managing Director David Joseph said: “This growth is tremendous news for citibase but this is just the beginning. The involvement of Close Brothers shows that the serviced office market is in great shape and our continued partnership with them will allow us to make further acquisitions in the future.”
