Managing Director appointment prepares citibase for next phase of expansion

London 9 January 2007. citibase, the leading serviced office provider, has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Steve Jude, previously Non-Executive Director of MWB Business Exchange and formerly Group Sales & Marketing Director and Regus Worldwide.

The appointment, to the role of Managing Director, will add a new dimension to the senior citibase team as the company gears up for its next phase of growth.

Previously, Steve was Managing Director of SIRVA UK Ltd, the relocation and storage company which owns the removals business, Pickfords. Prior to that he was director of international sales at Avis Europe at the time of their floatation.

Between 2000 and 2003 Steve was group sales and marketing director of Regus, the serviced office provider. During this time he steered the business from private ownership to successful floatation in London and New York and doubled monthly revenues.

Steve’s appointment follows citibase’s recent acquisition of the Arc Business Centres portfolio, which includes working in conjunction with the Romulus Partnership, a Close Brothers fund specialising in serviced office investment. The fund has purchased the freehold of Arc’s Park Square centre, and the link with Close Brothers puts citibase in a strong position for future acquisitions and management contracts.
